Celebrate for the Cure

For the third consecutive year, Retrieve Medical Equipment is honored to support VeloSano Team Make It Rain and help in the battle against cancer. And, we couldn’t think of a more a more fun way to do it than to sponsor the Hollywood Nights party and invite all of our friends and customers visiting our hometown, Cleveland, Ohio, to attend AAMI Exchange 2019.

On June 7, 2019, approximately 250 people gathered at Windows on the River on the West Bank of the Flats in Cleveland, Ohio for a night of movie-inspired music and dancing, food, and tons of fun! Best of all 100% of proceeds benefitted cutting-edge cancer research at Cleveland Clinic through VeloSano, a community fundraising initiative.

We are thrilled to learn the event raised nearly $25k to help in the fight against cancer. This means that in five years, Team Make It Rain has raised more than $450,000, and has fully funded five promising cancer research projects and provided hope to so many. Talk about making an impact!

As one of VeloSano’s top teams (ranked #6 on the Top 10 list), the members of Make It Rain keep getting back on their bikes every year to honor all of our loved ones who have been lost to cancer and those who are currently fighting, but they are also helping our children and grandchildren to hopefully never know the pain of a cancer diagnosis.

The flagship “bike to cure” event for VeloSano will take place on July 19-21, 2019, but it doesn’t end there. Year-long activities and events have kept this community initiative rolling. Since the first bike to cure ride in 2014, more than $17 million has been raised, with 100% of the funds working to fight cancer.
